Behind the Lens

Based in Chicago, but traveling all over the world, I grew up always being photographed by my father. There wasn’t an occasion that went by where the camera didn’t come out - whether it be playing sports or even simply going to the Apple store. It brings me so much joy to be able to look back at those memories that were captured.

We all have those photos where we instantly transport ourselves back and relive the moment. Picking up the camera, that moment is what I’m hunting for. Constantly looking at different perspectives to find that perfect shot.

Life behind the lens provides the opportunity to press pause, really observe, and appreciate this world and the people in it. For me, it’s a reminder to enjoy the side trips. A lot. Because that’s where you’ll find the things more important than what you’re hunting for.
